Welcome!
Nana Moon Shop was created in 2009 with the idea of advertising our booth in an Antique mall. But it has developed into to so much more than that.

I am a Fearless DIYer, Armed With Paint and Laughter. Inspired By My Grandmother and my Thrifty Parents, Spurred on by my 3 Creative, Crazy Sisters, Follow my progress as I Tackle Our Family Home One Thrifty, DIY project at a time.

I am learning how to juggle family, creativity, blogging and working full time. It's quite an adventure! 

I've been a journalist for over 20 years, working in various marketing and writing jobs but my love of painting, DIY and antique shopping has shaped my writing over the years.

This is my Grandmother. She is 16 years old in this photo. Nana Moon is actually my Mother's nickname given to her by the first of 18 grandchildren. They are my inspiration for my website's name as well as my love of vintage things.
