This wreath hangs on my pantry door.
You know me, I had to spray paint the wreath hook, it was brass.
Sophie (my 6 year old) made the felt snowman artwork above,
the stockings are for our cat and 2 dogs.
(Read about how we made this message board HERE.)
This vintage crystal bowl filled with old crackled glass ornaments sits on my buffet with my red ruffled tree, star candle holders and hobnail dish filled with silk poinsettia.
A vintage porcelain baking pan serves as a stage for our little
snowman collection and tiny tree.
{You will discover that I have a thing for snowmen.}
These prayer hands sit on my mantel year around,
I just propped up the peace ornament against them. I love the symbolism.
On top of my vintage trunk I placed another small Christmas tree and decorated it with the photo ornaments of my four children. We use the chalkboard to count down the days until Christmas. I have had the green candle holders for quite a while and use them on several occasions. Green is so versatile.
These simple little vignettes are spread throughout my house. Most of them started out with everyday household items like a chalkboard, a baking dish, candles and photos. Holiday decor does not have to break the bank or be over the top, it just has to make you happy, right?
