I'm sorry that I have not been very good at posting this month. I have been a little distracted. I started working a new job. {I have 4 part-time jobs at this point. Not including wife and mother.} A while back, I created a website for Emerson Courtyard, a beautiful bed and breakfast that also serves as an events center. I have been asked to do all of the social media and marketing for it. I am very excited and have been spending a lot of time setting up Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest accounts for it, creating branding material such as business cards, brochures and pricing sheets.
We held my daughter's sweet 16 party there. It is just a beautiful property. I have been working on creating wedding brochures and we are staging a wedding for a photo shoot this spring. Which has me thinking about wedding signage. I love making signs. I think they are quick and easy paint project that anyone with a few stencils and piece of wood can make. Here are a few samples that I found on Pinterest.
The Emerson Courtyard estate consists of 3 cottages, a huge main house and 2 acres of gardens, this would be helpful to party guests.
I really like this one but it is a bit too personalized.
I think if I made this one for Emerson Courtyard, several brides would opt to use it, don't you?
These signs could all be made using the technique I used to make my Christmas sign HERE.
I prefer these white signs with pretty fonts. You can buy these wooden arrow sign blanks at Michael's.
I like the rustic crackled paint on these and the font. Crackle medium is so fun to work with. See how to make your own using Elmer's Glue on this post HERE.
Both of these signs could easily be painted by using vinyl lettering and paint like I did on my Be Sweet sign HERE.
Hope you are having a fabulous start to the New Year!
That location looks perfect for a wedding reception, I can completely visualize the bride in her white dress, as the sunset creates an orange hue around her and her groom. Making for the most promising wedding photos that I could imagine.
ReplyDeleteSuch a nice place you got here. Given a chance, I'll probably spend the rest of my life living in this kind of house. I don't know but the place appeals so much to me.
