"High Speed" hand mixer? Isn't that just too funny! Yes, I guess it will go as fast as your hand can crank it while holding it in a bowl of batter, trying not to get it all over the place. I just love these little guys! This one resides above my kitchen sink on a beam next to some kitchen related art and plates and rolling pins. I love how it looks.
My neighbor, RC has this lovely grouping of kitchen tools on her shed out just outside her kitchen door. There are meat tenderizers, lots of hand mixers, teapots, potato mashers, flour sifters and lots of other gadgets. All of these tools had lovely green handles but the North Idaho weather has not been kind. It is a cute way to display them. I can see it from my kitchen window too, so I enjoy it daily. In summer the sweet scented climbing rose planted next to it blooms and the view is spectacular. Thanks RC for making my view a little brighter. I do have the BEST neighbors!
I love to participate in Vintage Thingy Thursday at www.coloradolady.blogspot.com !
I love the high speed mixer and your view is lovely. I don't think I could leave my things outdoors tho...they would have to be indoors with me. Happy VTT..
ReplyDeleteI like all the old kitchen utensils with red and green handles.
ReplyDeleteCC I agree. When she first put them out there I was kinda sad. They were in really fine condition now all rusty with the paint worn off. I have gotten use to them aging over time.
ReplyDeleteHello and happy VTT. I note the utensils with the red handles too.
ReplyDeletegreat kitchen utensils...love the red handle ones the best...of course! Have a great VTT!
ReplyDeleteI love old kitchen utensils but haven't been lucky finding any. Maybe one day I will thrift a 'high speed' mixer - how brilliant!
ReplyDeleteI remember using the 'high speed' mixer! I am still using the red handle potato masher that belonged to my uncle.
ReplyDeleteLove the shed grouping - gives me ideas for my shed. :)
ReplyDeleteHigh-speed mixer, ha! I loved playing with it dry as a kid, but I only remember making a splattery mess of things when I actually had to use one. Neat things on your neighbor's shed. Too bad they are left to the elements, tho.
ReplyDeleteWhat a clever idea for displaying them, thanks for sharing! Happy VTT!
