31 Days of Paint #19 Spray Painted Jars

Thank you for coming back to my 31 Days of Paint Series. If you would like to see it from the entire series just click HERE.

I have been working on a star burst mirror today. I  painted it silver and gold and got the mirror attached.  Now I am waiting for the silverware star bursts to actually stick it. So it's all sitting under a gallon of house paint waiting on glue to dry. {I really do use paint for everything. :)}

I thought I would write about spray painting jars and vases. They are all over the Internet lately. And are a quick, inexpensive paint project.

These sweet blue and white jars are just your every day drink containers and jelly jars painted with spray paint. I really like the idea of grouping together multiple shades of blue.

This tutorial on making mercury glass is extraordinary! And one the best use of spray paint I've ever seen. Anna from   Take The Side Street is one crafty girl.

This look was achieved wrapping the jar in yarn and then spray painting it. How simple and cute is that?

These yellow jars are just spray painted jelly jars. I have tons of jars and think I will do some orange ones for Halloween. Check out Joy's Hope to see how she did it HERE. She is so funny, her tutorial includes eating a Cad-bury Creme Egg! Plus there is a printable on her blog that reads: "Given Enough Spray Paint I Could Rule The World." I think I need to print one for my craft room. And so do you!

Happy Painting!
