My Summer Style

I was recently asked to participate in Emily A. Clark's "Send Me A Picture" Blog series. The topic: My Summer Style. I shared the photo above and thought I'd share it here too.

Here I used an old coal bucket to plant yellow petunias and an old wooden box that I got from a neighbor as my coffee table.

The Lucite tray from the 40's was an Estate Sale score. I fill my old peculator coffee pot with iced coffee and sit out here on a warm summer evening and relax with a good book.

I planted honeysuckle inside of my milk jug that my Mom painted back in 80s. For height, I placed it on top of an old garvanized wash tub. The honeysuckle draws a lot of attention from hummingbirds.

I found this wire plant stand at Paris Market in Coeur d'Alene. It's one of my favorite things.

For an end table, I stacked 2 vintage picnic baskets.

This is my summer style and my favorite outdoor seating area.
